Did I plan it from the start ?

"You're much too young. Come back when you have a degree or at least when you have 3 'A' levels". That was the end of my career as a Bank Manager - before it had even started ! As the fifth out of 6 children my parents had told me that I would have to leave school. The school expected me to stay on with the view of going to University. I had passed 3 'O' levels at the age of 15 and another 5 at 16. maths was my best subject and I decided that a Bank Manager would be a good career. Now my world was shattered. An Aunt had travelled from Wellingborough to Leicestershire to take me to London for the interview and showed me the sites of London before we returned home. I did not really take anything in. My world had been shattered. Where would I go from here ?
